We are excited to welcome Leda (left), Calypso (right) and Cupid (middle) from our neighbouring stud, Gugan Park (their name themes coming from the moons of Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus) . Gugan Parks foundation lines come from one of the old Victorian studs and as such make a great addition to our flock. The girls, still gorgeous and fluffy in their baby coats, are currently settling into their new home in a seperate sheep hut and paddock before being joining the ewe flock – although they have been camping out next to them for the last few nights so early introductions have already been made through the gate. Calypso was quite unimpressed with a photo being taken at such a ridiculous time in the morning and was not having a bar of it. With their arrival and a few ewe lamb additions on the side, we are now sitting around 50 ewes – and another round of lambing due to start any day.
