We have approximately 60 lambs each year available for sale. Early enquiries are always welcome and in some years, advised! Due to the Damaras non seasonal breeding pattern, we do not maintain a strict lambing cycle – and sometimes the cycles are quite extended. You can keep in the loop of what is upcoming by way of our Lambing Updates – photos are uploaded there for sneak peaks before they become available for sale. Any lambs, ewes and rams shown below are available for purchase.

If you are looking to establish your own flock, we can provide unrelated rams and ewes to get you set up correctly. A common starting point is one ram with three to four ewes. This allows sufficient genetic diversity while keeping numbers manageable – unless you are ready for a bigger flock of course! All starter flocks are selected with genetic compatibility in mind and are structurally suited to work together. We recommend getting in touch early so that we can select a well matched group. Beginning with a well-considered foundation makes expansion simpler, avoids unnecessary inbreeding pressure, and sets the direction of a flock from the outset.
If you are looking for fantastic pets and smallholding helpers, and not wanting to breed, wethers may be the way to go. Have a read of Why Wethers for why we think everyone needs a few!
If we currently have no sheep available, please feel free to contact us — we are happy to discuss options.
All Damara are sold registered with the Damara Society unless otherwise requested.
